946,988. Machine tool details. KEARNEY & TRECKER CORPORATION. March 2, 1961 [Aug. 18, 1960], No. 3003/63. Divided out of 946,987. Headings B3B, B3C, B3K and B3N. A machine tool comprises tool receiving storage means, a power-driven rotatable tool receiving spindle presenting positive tool engaging drive means, a tool releasably carried by the storage means provided with complementary positive drive means interengageable with the positive drive means presented by the spindle, and a power driven tool change mechanism including a tool engaging portion operative to bodily move a tool carried by the storage means into receiving engagement with said spindle in such a manner that the positive driven means respectively presented by the tool and spindle are moved into operatively meshing interengagement. The machine tool is as described in Specification 946,987. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 916,501.
