942,960. Hand trucks. COMPAGNIE NATIONALE AIR FRANCE. June 30, 1961 [June 30, 1960], No. 23708/61. Heading B7B. A truck has a movable platform 3 suspended on resilient bands 18 which pass over pulleys 16 and thence through holes 3b to the base of the truck. The platform carries food trays, the weight of which is balanced by the bands 18 or the platform may be raised and lowered by a chain 37 secured at 37a to the platform and moved by pedals 43 1 , 43 2 acting through oppositely-directed freewheels 35, 36. The platform may be provided with a central nut engaging a vertical screw rotated by a motor to raise or lower it. The lower ends of the bands 18 may be adjustably secured to the truck.
