Abstract
942,351. Circuits employing bi-stable magrietic elements; transistor circuits. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. Sept. 28, 1962 [Oct. 6, 1961], No. 35980/61. Headings H3B and H3T. A trigger unit producing an output pulse across terminals 7 and 8 when the voltage across coil 9 is high enough to cause transistor 13 to conduct must be reset before another pulse can be produced. When the potential across coil 9 is greater than that produced by the potential divider 14, 15 the transistor 13 conducts producing a current in winding 6. This current causes feedback in coil 5 which keeps the transistor conducting until the square hysteresis loop core 3 switches to its opposite stable state. The core 3 must then be reset by a voltage across coil 9, diode 10 allowing a resetting current to flow, before a further output can be produced. Specification 926,523 is referred to.
