938,540. Clamps. ISOBELEC S. A. Jan. 21, 1960 [Oct. 26, 1959], No. 2217/60. Class 44. A device for fixing a corrugated sheet 1 on a profiled flanged support comprises a U-shaped member 3, each leg of which is formed with an extension 3<SP>1</SP> to interengage with a different flange of the support, and a separate screw 5, threaded in the member 3 and passing through the sheet 1 and member to bear against the support, whereby tightening of the screw urges a part of the member against the sheet and away from the support via the intermediary of the member. As shown in Fig. 2, the corrugated sheet 1 is of plastics material. In other arrangements, Figs. 4-8 (not shown), the member 3 is shaped to engage an angle iron and a U-iron respectively. In a further arrangement, Fig. 10 (not shown), the plate of Fig. 2 is substantially trapezoidal in section.
