Abstract
935,353. Reducing iron ore. ELEKTROKEMISK A.S. Feb. 23, 1962 [Feb. 24, 1961], No. 7228/62. Addition to 926,545. Class 72. [Also in Group XII] The process for reducing metal oxide ores described in the parent Specification, is modified in that the uncoked carbonaceous fuelreducing agent is introduced into the rotary kiln at two or more delivery points provided between the ends of the kiln at the high temperature zone. The delivery points are spaced apart along the length of the kiln at a distance not exceeding three times the internal diameter of the kiln and preferably twice the diameter, or less.
