Abstract

933,439. Electronic counting apparatus. MUSZERIPARI KUTATO INTEZET. Oct. 23, 1959 [Oct. 24, 1958], No. 36008/59. Class 106 (1). A pulse counter comprises a plurality of series-connected bi-stable multivibrators, at least one of which is connected through at least two feedback connections to various ones of the other multivibrators, whereby at the one multivibrator one feedback acts to cancel the effect of the other feedback. Four multivibrators 1 . . . 4 are connected to give a count of ten by a known arrangement of feedback connections 8 and 9 which come into effect when a count of eight is reached. To suppress the effect of a second feedback signal through the connection 8 when the count passes from " 9 " to " 0 " a further feedback 10 is provided. The counter may comprise thermionic valves, gasfilled tubes, or transistors.
