Abstract

A distillate fuel boiling in the kerosine range or higher, especially a diesel fuel, contains a small amount of a diester of a monohydric alcohol of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms per molecule and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid of 20 to 30 carbon atoms per molecule. In an example a gas oil of wide boiling range contains 0,1% of dimethyl1:24-dioate.
