In an oil dispensing pump as claimed in the parent Specification, the compression spring 31 is disposed within the cylinder extension 7 of the barrel 1, with the upper end of the spring bearing on the underside of the piston 10. Valves 8, 19 are formed by flat discs 9, 18, respectively and are not spring loaded to allow for the free passage of viscous liquids.
