[Also in Group XV] A stand for supporting an object used in teaching drawing comprises a column 4 secured by a socket to feet and an object support which can be fixed at any height by means of a socket 6 and pressure screw 7. The object support which is at least in part transparent has as shown iron rods 8-10 to hold a sheet of glass or other transparent material on which is traced a rectilinear grid. A vertical grid which may be curved is also provided.
