Abstract

921,451. Injectors. CHERRY-BURRELL CORPORATION. April 1, 1960 [April 6, 1959], No. 11541/60. Class 71. [Also in Group XIII]. Steam enters the inlet 44 of a nozzle 42 and passes to the inlet 58 of a second nozzle while milk to be pasteurized, from a branch 40, enters the inlet 58 through a gap 70 between the nozzles. The size of the gap is adjusted by spacing- washers 54, 68 between the nozzles and the ends of the device, where the nozzles are held by nuts 52, 66. The nozzles are of Venturi form.
