Abstract

920,330. Container closures. KORK-NSEAL Ltd. Aug. 31, 1959 [Sept 29, 1958], No. 31007/58. Class 125(3). The neck 10 of a bottle provided with a soft pad 17 which is to be damped with the bottle contents includes a closure member 12 of flexible synthetic plastic with a dome shaped part 13 over which the pad extends, skirts 14, 15 and a flange 16, the pad and member being secured by a spun on metal ring 20. A central thinner part 22 is pierced by a pin to enable liquid to reach the pad. A loose push on cover 23 fits over the pad.
