A folding perambulator has an under-frame 2 comprising pairs of rods 10, 11 pivoted together at 9 and to rods 14, 15 which are pivoted to a carriage 3 at 12, 13; the perambulator handle 16 is rigid with rod 14 and a lever 18 fixed to rod 14 is linked by lever 17 to rod 15 so that rotation of handle 16 causes rotation of rods 14, 15 and folding of frame 2, the wheels 5, 6 entering grooves 4 formed by walls 7, 8 of the carriage sides, the rods 10, 11 lying parallel with the carriage base when folded. One of the levers 14. 15 may be omitted and the corresponding rod 10 or 11 pivoted directly to the carriage.
