Abstract
917,798. Suspending curtains. MOOI, T., and JONGEJAN, J. C. T. May 25, 1961 [May 28, 1960], No. 18879/61. Class 52 (5). A curtain rail has symmetrically constructed oppositely facing channels 1, 2 with inturned flanges defining longitudinal slots 3. The upper flanges support the rail on an inverted T- shaped projection 5 on a bracket arm 4. The lower flanges 9 form tracks for curtain runners 6. An end block 10 has spigots entering the channels 1, 2. The rails may be interlocked side by side by the flange of one rail entering the channel of an adjacent rail. Crossing rails may be linked by a double-headed peg (Fig. 4, not shown). In another form the channels are gapped rings in cross-section (Fig. 1, not shown).
