Abstract

917,687. Valves. PEGLERS Ltd. Aug. 6, 1959, No. 26943/59. Addition to 899,872. Class 135. The valve according to the parent Specification is modified in that the sleeve 18 is secured by a clamping ring 30 fixed to a radial flange 31 of the valve body, this ring bearing graduations 35 corresponding with the pitch of the splines 26 between the sleeve and body, and the actuating handle 24 has a pointer 34 cooperating with the graduations to facilitate adjustment for wear down of the plug. A modified gland 27 is also provided.
