In shelving in which sections are moved forwardly along rails from a face-to-face storage position, lateral friction on the rails, due to both ends of the section not moving forwardly equally, is reduced by providing pairs of rollers 12, 13 to engage the side faces of rails 5. The section is supported by rollers 8.
