Abstract

914,301. Fluid-pressure brakes. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO. Ltd. May 3, 1961 [April 22, 1960], No. 14217/60. Addition to 835,970. Drawings to Specification. Class 103(1). In the dual braking system of parent Specification, the hydraulic transmissions from the master cylinders to the servo control valves are also connected to the spaces behind the servo hydraulic pistons to provide manual hydraulic operation in the event of power failure or to augment power operation. The hydraulic cylinders of the servo units may be of the low-input type as described in Specification 752,747, and the power servo cylinders may have a length exceeding the piston stroke to provide a fluid reservoir.
