911,302. Vehicle ventilators. FOONG U SAN. Feb. 19, 1960 [April 1, 1959], No. 11016/59. Class 137. A sheet-metal shield 17 has a flange 18 along one edge for fitting to the top edge of a window opening of a motor vehicle and the opposite edge 20 of the shield is rolled or beaded and has a piece of wire enclosed by the roll or beading. The shield may be supported by hooks 24 fitted into the channel at the top of the window opening and having tongues 25 to engage in holes 26 in the shield. In a further embodiment the shield has spikes 31 to engage the fabric lining over the window opening and is held in place by a channel-shaped member which clamps the flange of the shield to the fabric lining.
