910,626. Floating jib cranes. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG - NURNBERG A.G. Sept. 19, 1960 [Sept. 22, 1959], No. 32092/60. Class 78 (4). The luffing jib 20 of a floating crane is mounted on a slewable platform 2 attached to a column 3 which is mounted in the floating structure 1 by a step bearing 4 and an upper bearing 5. An upright 14 braced by members 17 carries pulleys 15 guiding the luffing and lifting ropes 21, 16. In a second embodiment, the column 3 is continued upwards and carries pulleys for the luffing and lifting ropes at its tip and has the jib pivoted directly thereto.
