Abstract

909,277. Knives. RICHARDS BROS. & SONS Ltd. Feb. 3, 1961 [Nov. 4, 1959], No. 37455/59. Class 30. The blade 10 of a bread, meat, &c. knife is hollow ground at 11 on both surfaces and has a wavy cutting edge made up of convexly curved edge portions 12, a hollow ground marginal portion 14 of constant width extending round the convexly curved portions. In modifications the cutting edge is sinuous, the marginal portion 14 is a flat bevel and the hollow grinding 11 is on only that surface of the blade which has a ground marginal portion.
