Abstract
1-Cyclopentyl-2-aminopropane and its volatile salts, e.g. the carbonate and carbamate, are rendered less pungent and suitable for use as an inhalent nasal decongestant by addition thereto of propylene glycol, e.g. in an amount of from 5-200% (preferably 30-75%) by weight of the amine. The compositions thus produced may optionally also contain aromatic materials and may be absorbed on to a suitable solid, e.g. a cotton or plug for use in a cartridge inhaler.
