907,004. Seed sowing machines. WEBB Ltd., ERNEST A., and BARKER, R. J. Dec. 22, 1959 [Sept. 22, 1958], No. 30233/58. Class 6(1). A seed sowing appliance comprising a seed storage chamber 23 from which seeds are supplied to a distributer 41 provided with pockets 33 and a control wheel or roller 34 is characterized in that a spring blade 44 is resiliently urged towards the periphery of the control wheel to lie closely against it and to close the chamber 23 in the region of the control wheel. The appliance is as described in Specification 795,062. Furrow coverers 58 are provided and are screwed to two vertical rods 59 secured to blocks 61 bolted to the frame of the appliance. Specifications 894,083 and 894,084 also are referred to.
