906,458. Air humidifiers. GIRAUD, H. P. Aug. 5, 1960 [Aug. 10, 1959; Jan. 23, 1960], No. 27234/60. Class 55 (2). An air humidifier for use with radiators comprising a series of spaced vertical elements has a number of tubes 5 each containing water or other liquid and a wick dipping in the water or liquid and exposed to the atmosphere at its upper end, the tubes being suspended between the elements of the radiator from a plate 1 formed with longitudinal slots 3 and 4 by flanges on the upper ends of the tubes. A detachable cover-plate 11 is provided. In a modification a supporting plate with one longitudinal slot is mounted between a cover plate and a plate mounted on the radiator, the arrangement being such that the supporting plate and its attached tubes may be pulled out for inspection.
