904,792. Gas burners. DIETZ, T. K. Aug. 26, 1960 [May 20, 1960], No. 29351/60. Class 75 (1). A gas burner comprises at least one elongated burner tube 11 extending transversely of a gas supply tube 13 and having a longitudinal gas discharge nozzle 15 having gas discharge channels formed by corrugated sheet metal strips 17 and flat or slightly corrugated metal strips 18 alternately arranged between side walls 16 secured to the edges of a slot in the burner tube. The flat and corrugated strips may have different widths. The whole or a part only of the nozzle is outside the burner tube or the nozzle is wholly within the burner tube. The axes of the gas channels formed by the corrugated and flat strips may be perpendicular or inclined to the axis of the burner tube. The bottom of the gas supply tube is at a lower level than that of the burner tube. Transverse burner tubes 12 may extend between parallel burner tubes 11.
