903,223. Cable and wire couplings; terminal blocks. ETABLISSEMENTS LEGRAND. Nov. 23, 1960 [Dec. 5, 1959], No. 40313/60. Class 38 (1). In a terminal connector comprising a base 10 of resilient plastic insulating material in which is embedded at least one conducting sleeve 12, of copper or brass, carrying two fixing screws 14, whose heads 16 are accommodated in protecting cylindrical portions 18 integral with the base 10, each cylinder 18 has three retaining teeth 20 projecting into the cylinder space such that a screw-head 16 will just be retained from passing out between the teeth. The teeth surfaces are chamfered at 24 such that screws 14 may initially be forced between the teeth into the cylinders 18 before screwing into sleeve 12 to retain connector wires (not shown). The screw length is greater than the distance between the sleeve 12 and the bottom of the teeth 20 so that the screw 14 cannot disengage from the thread.
