Abstract

902,911. Powder distributers. VAN DER LELY N.V., C. Dec. 5, 1958 [Dec. 19, 1957], No. 39361/58. Class 6(1). A machine for spreading powdery material comprising a removable hopper 7 and a rotary ejector 8 is provided with a screening hood 17 which is maintained in position with the aid of the container. As shown the hood comprises a tubular framework covered with canvas, two pivoted outer sections being provided which can be raised for transport purposes. The hood is provided with two forked supports 29 which engage on a frame member 1 of the machine, and two rods 37 which embrace the container and are joined by a member 42 which engages the front of the container. The container is removed to attach the hood.
