Abstract
901,544. Valve sawtooth circuits. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Oct. 21, 1960 [Nov. 3, 1959], No. 37297/59. Class 40 (6). In a circuit for providing a sawtooth current in cathode - ray tube deflection coils L, the D.C. component is by - passed from the transformer via an inductor H connected in series with the efficiency diode D, a capacitor C2 being provided to complete the A.C. circuit for the diode. This arrangement permits the use of a smaller line deflection transformer and reduces the acoustic output at line frequency.
