899,579. Partitions. VENESTA PLYWOOD Ltd. Feb. 1, 1960 [Jan. 30, 1959], No. 3474/59. Class 20(4) [Also in Group XXV] A partition 2 is fixed to a vertical wall surface 1 by a dowel comprising a base 3 fixed to said surface and a tongue 4 engaging a slot 7 in the partition edge. Fastening means, e.g. nut and bolt 8, 9, are then passed horizontally through registering holes formed in partition and tongue. The base may be let into surface 1 or accommodated in a recess 6 in partition 2 so that it is concealed when the partition abuts the wall.
