Abstract

Fabric woven from a mixed fibre yarn comprising rayon fibres and cotton or bast fibres such as jute, flax and hemp (see Group IX) is impregnated with rubber or rubber-like material, i.e. synthetic rubber such as butadiene-acrylonitrile, or plasticized compounds of polymeric materials of the vinyl or vinylidene type, including plasticized polyvinyl chloride and polyvinyl acetate.
