[Also in Group XXIII] A work-supporting platform is adapted for use with portable power tools, particularly those in which a power-driven hand-tool forms the driving unit. The flat work-supporting platform or table 10, Fig. 1, is provided with an adjustable guide or fence 12 and a gap 13 through which a circular saw 14 may project. The table is provided on its underside with a pair of lugs 15, Figs. 1 and 3, which enable it to be clamped to the upper tubular member 17 of a bracket 11. A clamping bolt 16, passing through the lugs 15, secures the table to the member 16 either horizontally or in a tilted position. A scale 23 or an indicator 22 appears through a window 24 in the table and a datum 25 on the table facilitates its setting. Specification 899,325 is referred to.
