Abstract
A process of simultaneously moving anions which form sparingly soluble silver compounds and also cations from an aqueous solution which comprises contacting the aqueous solution with a silver exchange product of a crystalline molecular-sieve zeolite. Examples of the zeolite which are Zeolite A, Zeolite X, Chabasite, Analcite, phillipsite, mordenite and faujasite identified in Specification 898,457.
