Abstract

A sanitary disinfecting and deodorizing composition comprises a chlorine-releasing agent, a solid water-soluble acid or solid water-soluble acid-reacting substance and an organic surface-active agent in the form of a block, using p-dichlorobenzene or naphthalene as binding-agent. Specified chlorine-releasing agents are chloramine T, dichloramine T and trichloroisocyanuric acid. Specified acidic substances are citric, tartaric and sulphamic acids, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium dihydrogen sulphate. The surface-active agent may be cationic, non-ionic or anionic, e.g. sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate, nonyl phenyl polyglycol ether or coconut fatty acid diethanolamide.
