[Also in Group XVII] A container having a cylindrical body of flexible rubberised material comprises end portions B, C vulcanised to the body either in a hot-air stove or in a two part mould 18, Fig. 7. The container body is formed of a fabric 4, preferably a super-polyamide, e.g. nylon, to which a coating of rubber is adhered on either side. The end members each comprise a core 4, which may be a laminate composed of glass fibre coated with resin, and rubber coatings 6. Rubber strips 12 are applied after the members B, C are inserted in the ends of the container body. Saturated steam may be introduced into the container when-in the mould, drainage being effected through members 19.
