Abstract

894,468. Electrical equipment panels. NIPPON ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Sept. 9, 1960 [Sept. 16, 1959], No. 31177/60. Class 37. An electrical cabinet mounting system comprises a front panel, a pair of angle-bars extending rearwardly from opposite diagonal corners of the block of the front panel, a rail attached to each of the angle-bars and extending parallel therewith, a component mounting panel disposed in a vertical plane between said angle-bars and having upper and lower plates provided with openings therein for air convection and rail guides mounted within the cabinet so that the rails may slide therein. The cabinet drawers consist of a front panel 2 having handles 1 and angle-bars 3 extending from diagonally opposite corners of front plate 2, rails supported by the angle-bars 3 and co-operating with rail guides 8 provided along the cabinet structure 9, and a component panel 5. The component panel 5 having end surfaces in the form of parallelograms is mounted with its VF surface in a vertical plane, upon the angle-bars 3 by means of screws. Holes h are provided in the upper and lower plates of the mounting panel 5 so as to provide air cooling by natural convection, the air flow being indicated by the dotted arrows on the Figure. Electronic components are mounted on one side of the panel 5 and the associated wiring on the other side.
