Abstract

In a pulse ratemeter employing a pair of surface barrier transistors forming a monostable circuit the mean current through an R-C coupling capacitor is measured by including a pair of reversely connected parallel rectifiers, with a meter in series with one, in the R-C coupling path, a smoothing capacitor shunting the meter. The ratemeter may be used with a Geiger counter tube.
