Class 146(2) An animal identification tag comprises a pair of elongated, circular or like flat tabs 11, 12, one tab having towards one end an upstanding headed spike 13 and the other, towards one end, a hole 15 to receive the spike. The tabs are made of a sufficiently hard but non-brittle nylon, chamfered on all edges which face that part of the animal to which the tag is to be fixed, and the diameter of the shank of the spike being such that the two tabs are loose.
