Abstract

The invention comprises 4-methoxy-2-methyl-6-sulphanilamido-pyrimidine and its preparation by reacting 6-amino-4-methoxy-2-methyl-pyrimidine with N-acetyl-sulphanilyl chloride in pyridine and hydrolysing the resulting 4-methoxy-2-methyl-6-acetylsulphanilamido-pyrimidine.
