890,015. Screw-threads. LUBBERT, E., SCHULZ, E., FINSTERWALDER, U., JECHT, R., and RUF, E. Oct. 15, 1955, No. 32967/58. Addition to 881,839. Class 80 (3). A concrete reinforcing or prestressing rod 1 has cold-rolled thereon a screw-thread whose rounded root 2 is of larger radius of curvature than the rounded crest 3, the ratio between the two radii lying in the range 4.0 to 5.5. A nut 4 has a complementary thread therein. The threaded rods are made from plain rolled rods by machining off the hard rolling skin before a thread is cold-rolled thereon.
