Abstract
889,976. Dry shavers. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 17, 1958 [Sept. 20, 1957], No. 29755/58. Class 131 In a dry shaver head the outer cutting member comprises a holder 1 and apertured pieces 2, 3 which co-operate with inner cutting members 4, 5, the cutting head being removable or tiltable about the body and including U-springs 6, 7, provided with legs 10, 11 which are resiliently latchable in recesses 12 in the edge of the holder and engage the apertured pieces to secure them in the holder and also prevent the cutting members from falling out of the head. As shown, the bases 8, 9 of the springs 6, 7 are pivoted to the holder and movement of one spring to release: the associated apertured piece locks the other spring in retaining position to prevent accidental interchange of the apertured pieces. The bases 8, 9 are curved to form an additional securement for the pieces and to avoid interference in the release of the pieces.
