888,405. Lamp laps and holders. COUGHTRIE Ltd., J. & G. Aug. 8, 1960 [Aug. 7, 1959], No. 27083/59. Class 38 (1). In a lamp fitting, incorporating a lamp holder 2, which has one or more flanges 3, and a support 1 for the lampholder, the lampholder is held in position by pivoting retaining fingers 6 to press against the flanges. The fingers 6 are pivotally held on support pillars 5, by means of screws 7, shake-proof washers 8 and spring washers 9. Projections 10 formed on the support may co-operate with apertures 4 in the lampholder to facilitate the positioning of the latter.
