[Also in Group XXIII] A washing cabinet 1 comprises a sink (not shown) formed in a working plate 6, and a dishwashing or other washing machine 7 hingedly connected by a parallel rod structure 8 to the cabinet 1 so that it may be swung from a position within the cabinet to a position resting on the plate 6, or to an intermediate position on a support or supports 17 in front of the cabinet. Each support 17 is slidable in holders 18 and includes a frame 25 which may be swung into and locked in a horizontal position. Alternatively, the or each support may be pivoted about a vertical axis. Cold water is supplied to a geyser within the cabinet 1 having outlet pipes 12, 13 leading to a tap above the sink and to the washing machine 7, respectively, the pipe 13 being flexible at least in part. An electric supply lead (not shown) for the machine 7 is secured to the rod structure 8 so that the machine may be operated in either of the three positions described.
