Class 120(2) In a creel assembly incorporating hollowbobbin-suspension rails 2 having substantially triangular section and a longitudinally-slotted base, and transverse support-members 4 for locating the suspension rails in spaced side-byside relationship, the assembly being mountable on standards 1 over a textile machine with the suspension rails extending horizontally and lengthwise of the machine, the transverse support members are made from the same rail section as the suspension-rails and are positioned base lowermost above or below the latter, crossing suspension and support rails being releasably and adjustably secured together by bracket straps 6, 6a attached to the respective slotted rail. The bracket straps may be of Z- or S-shape with flattened ends for bearing against the slotted rail bases with an intermediate portion defining alternate angles with the flattened ends approximately equal to the base angles of the rail section: each flattened end has a bolt-hole or slot. In a form with upper and lower assemblies, the former has four and the latter two rails, the supports 4 being adjustably secured to the standards both horizontally and vertically. On each side of the creel, bobbins are bolted where desired to the front rails, with replacements across the two front rails of the upper assembly, where at each side the back rail is lower than the front one owing to the use of strap-brackets of different sizes. Thread guide-rails 8 are provided.
