Abstract

883,696. Supporting cables. HAYDENNILOS Ltd. May 12, 1960 [May 15, 1959], No. 16671/59. Class 36. In a cable hanger designed for immediate attachment and removal from T or H-section girders, the hooks 10 are suspended from an arm 7 passing through and fixed to spindle 5. The girder flange 4 is clamped between two L- shaped claws 3 of adjustable span along spindle 5, and an eccentric cam 6, fixed to spindle 5, when the cam is rotated by the weight of cable placed on hooks 10. The cam 6 and arm 7 may be replaced by a hook having a cam face at one end, Figs. 7, 9 (not shown).
