Abstract

880,321. Window blinds. ELECTROMATIC SHOPBLINDS Ltd., and PARRY-HUSBANDS, W. M. Dec. 16, 1958 [Dec. 30, 1957], No. 40309/57. Class 20(3) [Also in Group XXV] In a shop blind installation wherein the blind is wound on a roller and is arranged to be opened and closed by at least one foldable arm operated by an electric motor, the foldable arm is supported from a tiltable bracket which is so constructed that the blind can be lowered through any angle between a horizontal and a vertical plane. The tiltable bracket 4 is pivotally supported at 6 and is connected to a fixed bracket 11 by a screw-threaded bolt 8 passing through slots 9, 10 in the brackets 4, 11 respectively. The effective length of the bolt between the bearing surfaces formed by the head 15 and a threaded roller 12 may be adjusted to permit the bracket 4 to tilt to any required angle; a locking nut 13 secures the bolt in the selected position.
