Classes 20(3) and 20(4) In a prefabricated frame for a window opening formed of vertical members 3 and horizontal members 1, 2 of U-shaped cross section and made of cement or like material, the vertical members 3 are smaller in section and are secured perpendicular to and in cut out portions of the horizontal members. The inner surface of the inwardly presented web forms an abutment face for a window frame. The lower horizontal member 2 may be formed with a sill, Fig. 5, (not shown) and the upper horizontal member 1 may be extended and reinforced to form a window lintel or may be extended to form a casing for a lintel, Fig. 4, (not shown).
