879,733. Cleaning vehicles, buildings &c. McOUAT, G. D. Nov. 3, 1959 No. 37316/59. Class 138(1) Apparatus for cleaning vehicles, buildings, &c., comprises a pipe 12 formed with a Venturi 17 and adapted to be coupled by a flexible hose 14 to the exhaust outlet 18 of an internal combustion engine, so that exhaust fluid may be passed under pressure through the venturi 17 to draw cleaning fluid through a pipe 42 from a. reservoir 38 via flexible tubing 34 and pipes 28, 20. The mixture of fluids is discharged through a nozzle 15 and directed on to the surface to be cleaned. The cleaning fluid may consist of diesel oil or an aqueous solution of a known cleaning compound.
