Abstract

879,543. Suction cleaners. ELECTROLUX Ltd. Feb. 12, 1958 [Feb. 20, 1957], No. 4619/58. Class 8(1). Projecting below longitudinally extending runners 13 of a cylinder-type suction cleaner 10 and located in or near a vertical transverse plane passing through the centre of gravity of the cleaner is a pair of rollers 15 which together with the runners 13 enable the cleaner to be readily pulled over a supporting surface by a tractive effort applied to the suction hose. Auxiliary rollers 19 may be located near the ends of the runners, and all roller members may comprise balls supported in recesses in the runners.
