877,804. Push button tuning mechanisms. OAK MANUFACTURING CO Sept. 28, 1959 [Sept. 26, 1958], No. 32865/59. Class 40(5) [Also in Group XXV] In a push button tuning mechanism, particularly for a car radio, a rocker arm 16 pivoted at 15 to a frame member 11 is connected with a linearly slidable member 22 guided by tongues 23, 24 riding in slots 25, 26 in the frame member by a link 19 engaging pivot pins 18, 20 projecting from the arm 16 and member 22 respectively. A retaining finger 35 prevents the link from slipping off the pivot pins. The link, which is made of spring material, has a non-circular aperture 31 at each end and a slot 32 intersects each aperture to form a narrow flexible tongue 33 by means of which a pivot pin is held in the aperture.
