877,238. Knitting-machines. ETABLISSEMENTS BRULEY FRERES A ESTISSAC AUBE. Dec. 24, 1957 [Jan. 30, 1957], No. 40059/57. Class 74 (2). One of the two normal cast-off cams of, say, the bottom cylinder cam track of a two-feed superposed cylinder machine is replaced by a cam 3 the depth of which is substantially twothirds that of the normal cam and so is insufficient to cause casting-off. The loops thus accumulated in alternate courses are cast off in the intervening courses to form a tuck rib fabric. An additional cam 5 ensures return of the needle butts to a position to knit an ordinary rib course.
