Abstract

873,319. Lawn treating apparatus. HARGREAVES & CO. Ltd., W. Oct. 1, 1959 [Oct. 1, 1958], No. 31299/58. Class 6(1). Apparatus for the treatment of turf comprises rake tines 11 mounted on a shaft 7 and abutting on a channel 9 provided with plates 10 by means of which the channel is pivoted in the shaft 7. The shaft 7 is mounted on a channel 5 provided with plates 6. As shown in Fig. 4 the position of the tines is adjusted by screws 17 which may be inserted in one of holes 18 the two channels pivoting on bolts 16. The rake is spring mounted on a frame 23 attached by pins 20, 21 to the hydraulic linkage of a tractor.
