In a rotary pump of the flexible tube type for dispensing paste from a container 5, the container is detachably mounted in a housing 1, 2, 3 and has a flexible nozzle 6 which is supported by an inclined wall 8 of the housing and is progressively and increasingly squeezed by a spring-loaded, manually-operable roller 9.
